Why do you offer home delivery of my pet's medications?
We understand that sometimes it is easier to have medications and prescription diets delivered to your home.
Trusted Friend Animal Clinic has partnered with Patterson Veterinary and VetSource to provide our clients with the convenience of an on-line pet pharmacy.
Are Patterson Veterinary and VetSource reliable companies?
Yes. Vetsource is located in Portland, Oregon, and all products and medicines dispensed from the pharmacy are obtained directly from the respective manufacturer. Vetsource employs three licensed pharmacists, and maintains human level quality control standards.
Patterson Veterinary is the vendor we use to supply our own clinic. Anything purchased through our on-line pharmacy carries the same product guarantees as items purchased directly from Trusted Friend Animal Clinic.

Special features of VetSource
Remind Me Program: Enrolling in this program is quick and easy, and can be done in the clinic after your appointment. Once enrolled, you will receive your pet's monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative products in the mail on the day the medication is due. The shipping is absolutely free! You will be billed on a monthly basis.
Autoshipment: You can also sign up for automatic refills of medications that your pet is taking longterm (i.e. thyroid medication, insulin, heart medication). In this case, a refill will be shipped to you, on a monthly basis for example, so that you do not have to come in to the clinic as often.
You will receive an email from VetSource a few weeks before the refills are due to expire. In addition, we will call or email you about setting up an appointment for the recommended/required diagnostics (e.g., a physical exam and bloodwork) to renew the prescription.
